Many people uses equipment like phones and other media without really knowing much about their history. It is interesting to know that iPhone was named as a combination coined word for Internet and phone technologies. Some people assume that iPhone means international phone technology.

The first iPhone has now grown to enable Apple applications to be added on as accessories which include games, mapping as in GPS navigation, social networking and speciality advertising programs. Since the iPhone was first marketed, 4 models of iPhone have followed. The first iPhone used a phone screen that set the stage for future iPhone by making screen size and button placements precedents.
A subsequent iPhone the iPhone 3G added cellular network and GPS apps. Another iPhone, the iPhone 3GS had a compass, Internet processing speed and finer density camera and video. The iPhone 4 has two cameras.
The Apple and Verizon iPhone or the Verizon iPhone is a product developed when Verizon made an agreement with Apple to use Apple iPhone technologies on Verizon’s phone band. The iPhone 4 or the Verizon iPhone 4 has been manufactured and is being sold in the United States as of February of 2011.
Apples iPhone 4 was made and sold previously in June of 2010. Adding Verizon’s phone band to Apple technologies has given Verizon phone users the option of Apple iPhone technologies as well as 2 cameras and all under $200.
